Is there a local standard? High visibility orange and yellow are the most popular. Some individual dive teams set their own agreed standards, like orange for surface marker, yellow for emergency. but there is no "recognised" standard that I'm aware of.

Mine is safety orange with reflective Solas tape at the top on both sides. Highly visible in almost all conditions. ZG

Hello,

My HelpMeImLostBag is white with a big red dive flag on it. I have a quad bag by subsalve, 50#, I use it as a dive flag on beach dives.

Most seem to be orange for surface markers, I have heard from friends that they carry both colours (orange and yellow) they only use yellow in real emergancies.

But don't know if they are any rules.

BRIGHT COLORS ARE GOOD BU I THINK IT IS GOOD TO WRITE YOUR NAME ON IT SO THAT THE CAPTAIN KNOWS WHO IS COMING UP
