Is the current very strong now on the Connie? We are planning to do a fun drift dive from the Wee Hawk to the Connie next week. what is water temp too?
 
Current is just about normal. You might be about 1 minute quicker. Also the current will try and pull you out further into the river after the washover from the canal to the river however is still very managable. Temp is 71F.

As I mentioned earlier. The current is about the same as always, 65F temps a few weeks ago, others reporting it has warmed up to 71 though.
 
If the Conestoga is not open, how about the Rothsay as an alternate?
Just west of Prescott/
