What type of connection type is this? I’m looking to add a light for a starter setup, what do I need to add a to this?

Looks like an older Ikelite quick release handle. Check with them to see if it is still compatible with current production.

It's the quick release adapter for older style black ikelite handles which share the same release system as the newer black/red striped handles.
