I also suggest Coral Reef Inn. We have stayed there before and are going back in Feburary. The outdoor kitchen has a roof over it and is a full kitchen. Jerry & Leona have it stocked well including all pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a full size refrigerator with a labeling system so stuff is not confused with other peoples. They also have a grill up there plus you have a dorm type fridge in the room. Also it is 3 blocks from Chedarui so you don't have to walk far to grab supplies. The only negative we had, which was actually a positive, is there is no pool or beach. A word of caution, just because a place has a kitchenette doesn't mean all the supplies are there. We stayed at another resort down the road and there was a kitchenette as advertised but they had not skillets, pots, etc. We had to buy all of this in order to cook. CRI has all this already.

Look into the Residencias Reef condos if you don't mind being south. Great value! Pool, beach full kitchens.
