Thanks TSandM. I've ordered a used wetsuit so I don't have to worry as much about additional weight and have a source of redundant buoyancy. I know a SMB and lift bag can also be redundant buoyancy sources, so long as there is enough time to deploy (in a potentially stressful situation).
I'm diving with an instructor next week to do some drills swimming the rig to the surface and deploying the SMB for buoyancy in the case of wing failure.
