Crossing shoulder straps

I have owned both crossed and uncrossed standard harnesses for use with double AL80's. I personally found the crossed more secure, provided a better range of movement, and it shifted the weight inwards on my shoulders, closer to my neck. On the downside, it was more difficult to remove.
