I am a newbie and after much research, especially on this forum, I pulled the trigger on DRIS's Apex TX50 deal where you get the 1st stage and two seconds (one used as octo.) Waited excitedly for them and they came really fast. Used them Tuesday on my 2nd pool dive and uh-oh, really, really loud screeching (so loud everyone in the class kept looking around to see who was in trouble, lol), frequent 2nd stage free flows and bubbles coming out of the 1st stage.
Me=bummed. Went home, and at 9 pm talked online with Aaron on the DRIS site and he reassured me that in the morning all would be taken care of. Me=hopeful.
Talked with Kasia the next morning and she referred me to Joe the reg specialist. He reassured me, put me on hold for maybe 2 minutes, and then came back on the line saying that new regs are being shipped to me with a return tag for the other ones, and that he will personally look at the regs they are sending out to make sure nothing is amiss at all. Me=really, really, really happy.
That is A+++ customer service, A+++ reassurance and A+++ caring about me, a newbie. Way to go DRIS. Good job.
PS: I was so impressed I ordered a set for my friend's son (who I affectionately call my adopted son) who is taking the course with me.
