8yrs ago when I started diving and became a member of scubaboard, the freedom plate was introduced. I never really took notice since I was still diving jacket bc. And there were still problems with the plate bending.
Can someone tell me the advantage to this?
I dive in an step alum bpw w sta with jet fins. Neutrally buoyant garments mainly in tropics. No weights.
I’ve been considering changing to a stainless plate without sta and with Apeks RK3s
