I have a blunt tipped titanium fixed blade that I sometimes carry strapped on my calf; an LC200N Spyderco Mule that I plan to affix in the knife "compartment" of my BC, and a Spyderco Salt in BC pocket (I have both Atlantic and Pacific salts, both with serrated blades). I still plan on adding a line cutter; just haven't done it yet.
Three knives seems about right for underwater, since that's what I usually carry topside (except at work - don't ask, because the signs say knives are prohibited there).
