Oh, sh!t. :eek:
What am I gonna do with a thousand dollars worth of D350/D400 spare parts?
If the resurrection of the D series results in a fire sale of those parts, I'm your huckleberry:)

I will most likely end up with a D420 once they hit the used market, but can't justify adding a brand new regulator to the pile.

need a vertical comparison against the pilot/air1/older d series (d300/d350/d400)
I'll start on that. I was thinking of doing a Pilot restoration thread, anyway.

HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD!!???
OMG, I'm about to have a heart attack.

Thank you for the specs!

From the schematic, I think WOB might be better in standard diving position: exhalation valve looks to be about 3/4" higher than diaphragm. Unfortunately, losing a coaxial diaphragm/exhaust means that cracking effort can't go down to 0.6" like the D400, and effort will be noticeably harder (just a little) on your back.
But that poppet looks to be a throwback to the original (great news!) aaaannnnnd...I can't find a stupid Delrin orifice!!! It looks like an all-metal assembly, though I can't really tell from schematic. In any case, there's no separate removable orifice component.

Adding in diver-controlled Venturi is just icing on the cake.

The lever looks like the low-friction method in the C360, so that's fantastic news.

This is better than porn.
And I haven't even watched the video yet...

I'll be back later.
@buddhasummer , I think we'll be talking.
:yeahbaby::bounce::callme::bday::thumb:

I tried to sell the second MK25 without success so guess I'll need to wait until they sell it as a second stage only.

Take one for the team Rob and post back.

I just texted my LDS owner.
He thought he was getting off early today.
Ha!

Oh! He just replied while I was writing!
"I will call tom'w and get eta"

More to follow...
I think I'm starting to twitch.
My buddies at work are all, "Gee! That's great, Rob!" all the while thinking, "I can't believe what gets this guy excited..."
Screw 'em.
