Hi folks, I have another question regarding a South/St. John’s LOB. I’m considering two routes; one that includes a day of diving at Daedalus, another that includes days at Rocky and Zabargad. Both include time at St. John’s and Fury Shoals. May/June time frame. Thoughts?
 
Daedalus is for sharks. Great wall reef, but every dive will be spent looking for sharks, so far less reef diving time. I was just there 2 weeks ago, and very few sharks - water temp was 29 C, and the hammerheads were down at 50 meters in cooler water. We saw one. You might have better luck in May. Although our guide saw hammerheads in August.
 
I always found Rocky Island and Zabargad a little dull (despite the wreck of the so-called Russian spy ship) whereas Daedelus ...
