On my most recent dive trip I've noticed some sluggishness in the "bounceback"
time of my macro/landscape mode button. On a couple of dives the button did
not fully return after being depressed and I could not change any other functions
the rest of the dive.

Now that I'm back on dry land with the case open I can measure the in seconds
the length of time for this button to return to its normal position (all other buttons
respond normally).

Anyone experience this issue who resolved it out there who can tell me if there
is something I can do to fix this?

Thanks.

With any of the SeaLife cameras, when you notice this sluggish return, it woul dbe best to take the housing only, immerse in warm water and activate all the buttons a few times. There is usually some residue/particles that can over time accumulate in the button area so flushing out is important. It is good practice that when you get back on the boat, to rinse off the camera in the camera bucket and at the same time cycle through the buttons as well to flush out any particles that have made their way in during the dive.

This should remove any issues with the buttons.

I always soak, but never thought to work the buttons. I'll try it out.

Thanks.
