I realize the course doesnt make me any more ``advanced'' but nothing wrong with learning something new.

The 8th through 22nd for the fourth consecutive year to the Ibero. Dressel's for the majority of the trip but I would like to try one of the ops recommended here...
It's been a tough year but skipping Coz. was not an option!

Well, it will make you a bit more "advanced" than if you only had OW training, and more training, especially when you are just getting started diving, is a good thing. It's just a bit of a misnomer to call someone with only a few dives "advanced". Maybe they should call it "OW2" instead of "AOW". But whatever you call it, get the training.

Edit- Air Canada decided to depart Jan1 vs Dec31, so we get to spend a NewYears in Cozumel . Nice if they would have told me. I just thought I should take a look at my reward tickets I booked back in Jan.
