December Weather

Been to Coz only in the summer months. What can we expect with weather December 20-27? My wife is worried she won't be able to lay out and I need to know what wetsuit to pack. Water temps?

Thanks for the help! Need a dive buddy for that week as well if anyone is around. I'm staying at the FA and trying to dive all week!

Water will be around 78. Weather, it might be beautiful, or it might be bad. Coz is a gamble in the winter months. This is from last years trip, the whole week was bad. I hope we have better luck this year. Its a gamble!!

I have spent 12 days on COZ last December [and will be there this year as well] - same dates as you mention. Harbor was closed 4 days out of 11 because of the "Norte" [windy front]. On few of the days that harbor was closed, large boats were allowed out - maybe you want to choose a diving operator that has the option of a larger boat as contingency for these days.

I do not remember the water temperature, but was diving with a 1mm - so I guess a 3mm will be a good option [I don't usually get cold].
