Right Rich, Left Lean is one way to do it.

When I stack on my left side, the lean mix is in an Al72 grey in color, the rich mix which is always 100% is in an Al40.

There is more than one way to skin a cat.

So most of my dive buddies who dive with more than one decompression bottles clip them on the left side while right side remains free so that long hose can be donated and stowed back. It makes the process of air sharing and stowing repeatable without a bottle coming in the way.

I would like to know what is your preference when it comes to clipping two bottles? Those of you who are clipping bottles on both sides, how do you deal with donating your long hose?
Personal preference or diving agency philosophy take your pick, for one bottle -Left because Im left handed for 2 then Left lean Right rich Long hose shouldn't be a problem if you clip everything from under neath and not over the top of hoses- double check with S drill

Bring the hose under your right arm and above the hip d ring. Secure the hose to your belt with a bungee loop attached to your belt before the hip d ring. Similar to tucking the hose in the front part of your waist, but more secure.
