Hi Dr Deco,

Do you know by any chance where can I find the Dr. X decompression planning software. Or at least the concepts of its algorithm. I'm writing an article for an Israeli diving magazine on decompression planning for tech diving and I'd like to write about Dr. X too since I've seen this name in many deep dives reviews.

Thank you

Dear Octo-Danny:

I am not aware of Dr X. Sounds to me like a super hero from the movies.

Anyone else with ideas as to the identity of the “masked marvel?” :mean:

Dr Deco

PS. Hey - - - and I thought "Dr Deco" was a weird name......

Hey Dr deco..

"Dr.X" was designed by Sheck Exley, and used at his record depth dives in Nacimiento del Rio Mante amongst others.
The software is also used by Jim Bowden and Ann kristovich at their dives at Zacaton.

(check out the Zacaton-project at http://www.onr.com/user/zacaton/ )

Regards, Andreas

Dear Andreas:

Thanks for the update on this topic. I am aware of this group from the web site and their CD on Technical Diving.
