I noticed the Deep 6 site no longer lists a computer. Is it still comming?

It's still listed. If you hit regulators and select gauges from drop down then computer. It just has a description but it's still there. Pretty sure they have it coming soon. Can't imagine they would scrap the project after all of the work put into it.

From what I understand they still don't have a release date. I'm trying to hold out for one too, but if I end up diving this spring/summer I may just cave in and buy an Aeris A300 for $200 or so instead.

Well I'm sure @cerich would be jumping at the opportunity for all these sales if he could. I'm happy they didn't release it flawed and look forward to a great computer when itshe perfected.

Agreed. Honestly even with the delays it makes me a bit nervous to buy any first gen hardware/software device. As someone who works with software, I know how many bugs end up behind the scenes. It'll be nice if firmware can be upgraded, though.

Open questions for Deep6 if they see this!

    1. Any info on how the cable will connect to the computer?
    2. What's battery life expected to be like?
    3. How often does the DC sample depth? (for better ascent rate indicators, recalculating NDL, etc - not just logging)
