    In testing the fin, it was literally universal that the standard stiffness in the small med was too stiff for those that fit the fin. It's less stiff, not at all soft however. Rubber fins are also less stiff than even our small med.

    Yes, the S/M fins do flex. Look at my avatar pic. Those are the S/M fins in white. Still very powerful, though.

    Sorry to revive an old thread but have you thought of finding a partner in Europe to import them ?

    I am scared of being hit by duty + shipping

    I haven't paid the 10K plus to get a CE mark on flippers, so moot point.

    Even with a EU distributor if it had the CE mark the import duty would still have to be paid and VAT etc and you would be paying about what you would now.

    Duty is a fact of life. Check with HMRC to see what it would be. In the US, there is zero duty on water sports equipment. Although just what constitutes “water sports equipment” can be a bit open to interpretation. I’m a licensed customs broker in the US, so I deal with this stuff all day along.

    Yea just that it would be easier if I had a local dealer who would deal with shipping and duty as I am pretty sure shipping for large quantities would be much lower, I take your point that duty would be the same.

    If they had a single partner in the EU, it would means that this partner could sell anywhere in the EU, shipping inside the EU tends to be fairly cheap between most of Western Europe countries.

    This is a bit expensive for me :)

    It isn't as simple as picking a partner or distributor. To warehouse, sell, and ship within the EU we need to have the CE mark on the product. As for the EU though.... the UK is on the way out, so after that happens the situation may improve there for you.

    Our rates come directly from shipping carriers, we don't make anything on them. We have negotiated competitive rates with UPS so they should be in line with other proper calculations considering dimensions/weight.

    Yea I read the posts on this thread and I understand your situation.

    I didn’t think of the CE thing.

    @BlueTrin

    I’m told there are consolidating companies that you can use as a US ship to and then they send the goods overseas. Might be something to look into if you’re that desperate for a pair of these fins!
