Delete dive logs on VTX?

I have come to the conclusion based on old threads and exhausting internet searches that there is no way to delete old dive logs and history from dive computers.

I just purchased a second hand VTX and would like to clear it out. Just so I don't have to weed through my friend's old dives. And a quick look at history that only shows my history. Any new ideas or work arounds? I imagine I'll just have to tough it out for 50 or so dives until I overwrite the data.

I have diverlog for iOS and pc.

You need to set your set sampling rate to 2 seconds and then make a lot of dives or send it back to the factory.
