I'm a Fish!
For those of you who have the dgx 30 wing specifically do you use bolts and the cam bands to attach the wing to your plate or do you just use the cam bands alone?

I use the bolts and cam bands. Figure it won't hurt and they can back-up each other. I just made sure that fully inflating the wing doesn't stress the bolts too much

I also use the bolts. The middle holes line up perfectly with the bolts on the Freedom plate.

Did you guys go plastic or metal for the bolts?
I have used both. With my Al DGX plate I used plastic. With the freedom plate, metal. Either way works. If you’re diving single tank I’d probably recommend plastic since the cam bands do all the work anyway.

General phobias combined with an abject fear of securing 8" tanks to a bumpy only 1'1/2 supported web strip
has me using steel bolts

Yes I’m going single with it. I’ll give their plastic ones a try first.

I used plastic. It looked like metal ones might scratch up the tank without an STA.
