Good Afternoon,
I was looking at both of these Inon Strobes and cant find a big difference in them, can anyone tell me what the Z-240 does that the D-2000 doesnt that warrants the extra 200 bucks? And I have an Ikelite Housing and tray, will most arms connect to the Ikelite handle? Or will I have to switch trays or arms?
Thanks

First, it depends on which D-2000......(there are/were four versions)..........

The discontinued D-2000 W and Wn came with the option of triggering by sync cord along with optical triggering.

The D-2000 and D-2000s are capable of being triggered optically, but do not have the sync cord option. The D-2000s does not have an auto mode or target light. The D-2000 and Z 240 do.

The 240 has a topside GN (ISO 100, meters) of 24
The D-2000 series all have topside GN's of 20
