Hasn't Chris posted something to the affirmative before? I'm sure i've seen a picture of a computer screen, maybe that was on FB though. Personally I'd rather he use the R&D dollars elsewhere, but it's his company.

what exactly would you prefer I spend money on?

Is there a dive computer offering on the radar for Edge / Hog?

Yes I've played with the prototype/model. It's in the works.

My comment was based on my limited knowledge of the industry around niche custom electronics manufacture. These products all too often turn into black holes into which the original producer continues to pour money well after any potential for profit has been wiped out. And the more complicated the device, the deeper the hole, and the more developer cycles spent endlessly chasing bugs and trying to fix design faults with firmware fixes.
There are already heaps of specialist computer companies in an already crowded market. Now if you OEM'ed an existing product that would limit exposure, but somehow I think the product would be unique.

As I said, it's your business and I only wish you well. Personally I would prefer to see you spend the energy and $$ on extending the dealer network and cementing your products dealer and user base, as that way you will be around longer, and I could get service at a wider range of locations. But that's my selfish want :)

Open mouth.... lol

I would like to see HOG get into stuff like lights and tools.

Ditchable weight trim pockets would be cool

Glue on bellows pockets?

Handheld back up lights, kind of like what light monkey offers

Cave gear would be nice too

Well, hopefully my Suunto Mosquito will last a while longer until Hog has a product on the market. I'd love to see what it is. They seem to be spot on in having the right product at the right price so I'm guessing there's a good chance it'd be my next computer.
