Last nights dive was at the site "Fish Cage" Mooloolah River Sunshine Coast Qld, which aptly gets it name from the top of a navigation marker that was knocked off by a Trawler and now resting on the bottom, and looks like a fish cage.
Bottom time of 153 mins max depth of 5.9M at 22 degrees. The dive was almost called off due to a Tug boat profiling the river anchorage very close to the dive site. Visibility was hampered by the profiler but the substrate was visible so we made a go of it. We saw 9 species of Nudibranch including the Flabellina Rubrolineata pictured below, a yellow box fish that was very photogenic, a Cardinal fish with a massive isopod parasite hanging off his back and a rosy spindle cowry of the Ovullid family. All in all an excellent nights diving.
