If Suunto had of asked me, I would have told them NO!!!! to the "upgrade".

I will NEVER BUY SUUNTO AGAIN !!!! NEVER !!!!! Which is too bad because I love their computers.
i continue to used DM3, i never really used DM4, i will not upgrade to DM5, i'm using JDivelog then SubSurface.
my Vytec DS died, i purchased a Vyper Air.

the problem is not the computer, the problem is the software.
but it's easy to say NO to an upgrade proposal.

Why do you dive with 2 different algorithms?
why not ?
i'm using a Vyper Air and a OSTC (Bulhmann) without problem.
The OSTC can be adjusted, and the deco times are about the same.

DM5 is now out. A bit better than DM4, which was not as good as DM2. I use windows 8 and went through a period of not having the computer recognized. Got to get the angle just right. The DM5 software connected right away. still no way to edit the TAGS Drop Down menu to delete misspelled or no longer used tags. it does have more Export options than the old DM4 and there is even a USERS MANUAL, but it is not much help. Still not a real usable program.
