Good Luck out there and as always be safe!.... Capt. Rick.

10-11-12 9:08 AM. SW of Venice Pier in 30 fsw. Wind NE 10 knots, light chop. viz 4-6 ft. Water temp 81. Tide outgoing. Was diving with Man Overboard today, less than 2 inch meg teeth found & assorted fossils. Capt Rick found a 1 inch great white tooth with serrations, very cool!
11:23 AM in 25 fsw, Golden Beach area, Venice. Wind et al similar except less chop since we were closer to shore. Nice fossil hunting area, lots of silt tho. Red Tide not noticeable offshore in Venice but intracoastal has lots of dead fish. Found a dead juvenile bottlenose dolphin that Mote retrieved with the help of Capt. Rick, as it got entangled with the rope from a crab pot, very sad!
