I need help with a question on the Dive Rite tec butt plate.

What is the spacing ( distance ) between the plate holes ( the ones that connect to the harness ) ?

Do the D-rings on the plate hold good the weight of Steel 10L tanks ?

I'm looking in to this butt plate to attach it to my custom sidemount system in order to attach 6 tanks, but will use the butt plate to hang my 10L - 230Bar steel tanks ( same weight as one AL-80 ), I appreciate a lot your time and help.

Thanks

I’ve used steel130s/104s along with the DR tech buttplate with no issues. Can’t imagine you would have issues with weight equivalent to Al80’s

Thanks for your input Kate

the webbing attachment points are about the width of a backplate. I burned holes in mine with a soldering iron and used normal sex bolts for attaching it. Works pretty good with a backmounted CCR and everything up to 130s (16L?)
