Dive Sites - San Jose/Santa Cruz Area?

Hi everyone,

I might be in the San Jose/Santa Cruz area for a while and would like tips on if there are any good dive sites around (say within an hour drive of either city). Freshwater or marine. I'm used to crap vis and cold water, just don't want to have to be dry for any longer than I have to be.

monterey/carmel are the closest. pt lobos, monastery beach, copper roof (carmel beach), breakwater (san carlos beach). or boat dives from the sanctuary/beach hopper.
