I shot this video last Sunday right before the quarry held their annual charity treasure hunt.
They released 30 yearling paddlefish which will live in the quarry until they are old enough to spawn, about 10 years from now more or less... at which time they will be restocked with younger fish and the spawner aged fishes will be moved into areas where spawning can occur (running water of the right temperature), or so I was told.
