Thanks for sharing. Have you done the Disney Epcot aquarium? Curious as to how they compare...

Thanks for the video! I've done epcot a few times and wondered how the Florida Aquarium compares.

I've yet to do the dive at Epcot but am hoping to do it sometime this year.

Just to give an overview - Each participant is paired with a dive master. You watch a 3 minute video about the dive, including the dos and donts. You can bring your own mask and bring a camera but camera has to be mounted on your person. I would also recommend a towel, soap/shampoo and change of clothes.

After video, you go to a locker room where you put on provided wetsuit. Inside the locker is also a t-shirt, aquarium bag with literature and a certificate for doing the dive. From there you proceed to the tank viewing area where you can take photos in front of it. Family is escorted to this area as well to watch you dive.

From there you head to top of aquarium where you meet dive master. They go over equipment (zeagle at the time of my dive) and safety information. You enter a cage to make sure everything fits properly and that you are properly weighted. From there you exist the cage and follow the dive master throughout the aquarium. While on the bottom they encourage you to search through the substrate and look for teeth, if you find any you can keep them.

After the dive, you exit on top of the tube you walk through in the aquarium. You are assisted out of your gear and a jacked was provided on our dive as it was relatively cold. From there you head down to the locker room where there are showers to clean up and change. You are then escorted to the lobby where your family is waiting. The cost of the dive includes admission and any family accompanying you gets a discount on admission. You also get one free picture and have the option to purchase additional pictures that were taken during your dive. The dive master also has a go pro filming the dive and you can purchase the video as well.
