Hi!
Event Medical Services of NY is a company that staffs EMTs, Paramedics and Athletic Trainers, etc. at events of all kinds ranging from sports to festivals and concerts to TV/motion picture production.
We are seeking some great safety professionals to help us out with staffing a fun event in Lake Geneva, WI this Saturday 9/19 from 7am to 4pm. It's a military-style extreme obstacle course in which the water section is a 300' pond that is about 6-10' deep (still water, no currents).
Here's what we need!
·3 SCUBA Divers/Diver-Medics (paid at $175 for the day)
oYou will need your own BC, Tank, Weights, Fins, Mask and Dry or Wet Suit.
oSuited and at the ready, rotated out every two hours as required
·8 Lifeguards or Surface Water Rescue Specialists (paid at $150 for the day)
owill need either a Dry or Wet suit and fins (if you use them).
oWe will supply the rescue equipment.
oYou do not need to be a certified lifeguard if you have surface water rescue experience/certification.
oRotated assignments
·10-14 EMTs or Paramedics (paid at $125 for the day)
oFunctioning on a BLS/First Responder/First Aid level
oPosted at aid station and at various places around the venue
oNo equipment needed (HOWEVER....if you'd like to be considered for other types of events in your area, includings sports, fairs, festivals, concerts, races, TV/movie productions, clubs, etc. you will need a BLS kit that meets some basic requirements)
