Hi Guys,

Im planning a family trip to Majorca. I know theres some really good diving around majorca, just wanted you guys to guide me on which are best dives sites around, and which dive centres are good for english speaking divers.

Also since its a family holiday any suggestions on hotels, holiday apartments nearby would be welcome!!

happy diving :)

Sorry, no, compared to Egypt and other sub-tropical locations there is no good diving around Mallorca. They have been fishing there for centuries so that there isn't much left to see. For most locations, snorkeling is the better alternative. On the way up from Alcudia to Port de Pollenca to Cap Formentor there are little bays with wonderful snorkling spots.

For scuba diving you should consider the dive spots around the island Sa dragonera in the west of Mallorca. Locations for hotels could be Puerto de Andraitx, Camp de Mar or Paguera.
