Hiya,

I have just finished my DM and am trying to get a CV together.

Can anyone give me any hints/tips/idea's??

What do the dive employers look for (Apart from the obvious!!)?

Anyone know of a good template etc??

Any idea's welcome!!! Email to dougz2002@hotmail.com

Thanks!!

When I help someone with their resume (for whatever career choice) I normally go out to Monster.com or one of the job boards and see what skills are required by the various employer posting.

Good Luck.

Thanks for this - I have had a look at some of the recruirment sites but not much help for diving CV's.

Was hopping some of the diveshop owners etc could give some tips.

Certain basic qualifications are expected of every applicant for a dive job. To get your CV noticed you need to also present other skills which you can offer.

Be certain to emphasize any languages you are capable of teaching in. Make note of any mechanical skills including engine repair, compressor maintainance, or other skills which demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

Whatever you can bring to the table, be certain the potential employer knows.
