Diving the St. Pete.

I got word back from Aquarius Divers. He has the two middle weekends in Aug open. (the 1st and the last are booked). Is anyone available for either of those weekends, either days, for a charter out to the St. Pete? His cost for fills is good (pm me for details). Not sure on the cost for the charter yet. The dates would be Aug 13, 14 20, 21. Let me know whos interested and I'll set the charter up.

Update: Dwight's boat can hold 6 people but the St. Pete isn't far from shore so he can go back and pick up others. $45 per person.

If you've never dove the Pete before, this is a great dive. She's deep, but not horribly so--I've gotten about 116 in the mud. She's pretty much intact (the wheelhouse was ripped off when she sank) and she's sitting upright. Still has ropes and the bowsprit as well as most of the 6.5 tons of chestnut coal she was carrying when she went down in 1889.

I don't know why not.
