Experimenting with my own quick release weight straps. Strap goes onto belt and through weight. Still needs to be sewn in two places and a red dog bone pull added. Withstands quite a bit of shock force. Might also embroider the pull tab.

If it is going to have a dog bone on it, maybe let the long thin strap go all the way to the bottom? Better security and leverage with the handle all at the same time?

I tried that, and it went from a quick release to a no release lol. Playing with the length coming off the dog bone is what changes the removal force.
