I know... it doesn't make sense, both in terms of price and of quality
And considering the price of good second hand fins it makes even less sense...

Still, just for my curiosity I would like to know if someone tried to make DIY fins and with which materials

I am thinking about exhaust tyres, perhaps the hardest part is hard and flexible at the same time

Get a plank of wood and bungee it around your boots?:D

I thought about it but I suspect wood is too buoyant. Still another material like Polyoxymethylene might work

How about old non-radial tire tread glued to a pair of Crocs? DIY, maybe effective, and ugly! :D

Crocs are a touch of genius I was actually wondering how to build the foot pocket

I already have an idea on how to make the bungee, I saw discussions on this
I need to understand how to make a stud to clip on it the bungee buckles

Hahahaha
I knew there was someone who did it already

Interesting you just nailed the inner tube to the wood so you don't even need to waste glue
Haha awesome
