I do my own reloading as well so I also have most of these items. Never thought about doing my own scuba weights. Great and fun idea. Now can you find some sort of soft rubber coating that can be applied on top.
Rubber tool dip comes in almost any color you’d want to dip your weights in
 
Nice job on your diy weights. It’s a really awesome thing to be able to make your own gear when you can. This W W Meixner guy sounds like a hand job.
