Dome port reflection?

I have been using a Sea&Sea underwater housing with a dome port for a little while now and slowly getting used to it. I am using my 18-55 lens but not using a focus ring, just set at a single zoom. This past trip all of my pictures came back with a halo around the image at the tops in a circular pattern. See image top right. Any thoughts as to why this happened this past time but not before? I do know I had the lens at 18 this past dive.

It looks like your strobes are too far forward. Try keeping them behind the housing handles.

Thanks! I was working with strobe positioning as well. Makes a lot of sense. Too bad most of my shots were full frame and cannot be cropped...
