Hi all,

I was watching a video on youtube last night, Drain the Great Lakes . Not a great video but it showed a couple of sites that I thought would be incredible to dive.

One was East Charity Shoal at the east end of Lake Ontario. Charity Shoal apparently is a 450 million year old impact crater. It is also only about 20 meters deep at the center of the crater. Has anyone dove the crater? Anything worth seeing?

Another site that looked interesting was the Alpena Amberley Ridge in Lake Huron. The video actually had divers going down to investigate a stone line that may have been put in place 8000 years ago to hunt caribou.

The show also showed the water falls in Lake Huron but I have seen people discuss them on her already.

A friend recommended that to me a few weeks ago. It was really interesting.

I was thinking about the same thing as I was watching the show.... Some cool places to check out...

Jim..

The friend recommended it as I'll be diving Thunder Bay off Alpena for 3 days in late July. I can't wait

Don't want to rain on your idea... But, In 450 million years... The odds are probably 1 in 450,000,000 that a piece is findable in the mud....

Jim..
