The tizip holded just 70 dives. The YKK holded 200 dives, but still toooooo less for a zip. So for me only brass zips.
I had in 3.5 years 3 times a tizip replaced by Santi. And now a brass one. After 22 months I had my ykk zip replaced by Otter with a brass one. All zips replaced foc under warranty. But no plastic zip was durable.
So brands that only offer plastic zips are absolutely a no for me.

I agree... I will go back to metal I think if this YKK is failing.

the flx suit i bought in 2010 is still on it's original brass zipper with no signs of any problems.
and i do not baby my drysuits....

Most everyone I know who has that suit seems happy. I just couldn't find anyone who I both trusted to measure me correctly and wanted to sell it to me, so I got a Santi.
