I use both DS51 and DS125.

to me it seems the switches on the DS125 are quite stiff. especially compared to the easy switch on the DS51. When diving in cold water, I had trouble moving the manual strobe settings switch without moving the strobe. I had to use 2hand.

A solution to me would if I could either lubricate the switch or unloosen the screw a little bit (if that is safe and does not break any seals.

Gerard,

Lubing the switch or loosening the screw would not be a good idea and may break a seal.

You can always send the strobe to Ikelite service for a checkout and have a technician check the switches.
