Dubai Diving?

Hello!
I depart for Dubai very soon and am hoping to get some diving in, during my trip.
Can anyone make any recommendations on where to go (in &/or from Dubai) and who they like?

This is where my wife and kids and I learned to dive. There is no good diving in Dubai. Khorfakkan is a couple of hours away.

Yeah, I agree - head over to the East Coast around Khorfakkan. Another great diving option is an overnight Dhow in the Mussandum area. Have fun
