DX-2G Adj Lever stopped working

Please help, my Adj lever does not seem to be working anymore. Depressing it or moving it side to side does not seem to elicit any response. could this be a software issue or is it a camera issue that happens?

Update on this, it seems to work sometimes, when the camera is switched on it works immediately and then stops working. I found a replacement GX200 for a relatively good price, anyone know if this work in the DX-2G housing while I try to get the original camera fixed?

HI- Yes, the GX200 is compatible with the DX-2G housing. The DX-2G camera will need to be evaluated and repaired by a Ricoh service center in your region.
