I'd like to get a nice dive camera/setup (i.e. DX-2G) for underwater shots but also want to use the camera for topside photography. Any opinions on whether I should just get a regular camera and housing or get a nifty DX-2G?
thanks!

I use the DX-1G for my above water photos and am extremely happy with it. It takes great photos plus you have the added advantage of the camera's wide angle lens. I think you will be very happy using the camera both above and under the water.

Regards,

Bill

I never looked into this camera's stats for above water... they look really capable topside!
Thanks for the question Rudy, I might switch from buying an S90 into a DX-2G!!!

Thanks guys! Awesome, I think I've made my decision now and will go make a satisfying impulse purchase! Don't think I can go wrong with this camera.
