I can sense your excitement as you read this. :)
In my first two decades of diving locally I saw a total of one Jorunna pardus. In the past couple of years, we've been finding them on several Palos Verdes reefs. We found four yesterday at Golf Ball Reef including a mating pair. We returned today hoping to find their egg coils. Merry was able to find the same pair but there were no eggs in sight. I wasn't finding much so I headed south. Just as I was about to give up and head back I found two Jorunna pardus on a rock with two egg ribbons. After taking a few shots I located Merry and pointed out my find. I can still hear her scree. Visibility was a nice twenty-five feet with just a little surge.

We tried for a second dive inshore at Haggerty's to look for Felimare californiensis but the surge and three feet vis made us give up. Still, we had a pretty good day.
