I have a few questions for you:

Q1: Are you using the DS for bouyancy control or your BCD?

Weight distribution, air distribution and equipment distribution all play into trim control. You should first break this down to find the cause. Trim and bouyancy are two different things I can be head down and be perfectly neutrally bouyant

Q2: How was your trim in a wetsuit (WS)?
Q3: How was your weighting, including distribution in a wetsuit?
Q4: What is the difference in weight between DS and WS used, assuming same water type?
Q5: When you stop doing all movement, doing nothing but only regular breathing, what happens?
