What do you normally use for washing off scuba equipment that has been "in the environment"? Also, what special circumstances, like leaking feul, would require additional decon methods and materials? What would they be?

We normally use a dip bucket of soapy water and then a dip bucket of vinegar water. Not sure why vinegar but...

Get the firemen to foam you down. It works great and they like playing with the suds.

Unfortunately most of our FDs are volunteer; there's seldom anyone at the station when we train.

We use tincture of green soap. WOnt hurt the equipment and good antibacterial properties.
 
I use [ever green] and [salt away]. Ever green is a good cleaner and I see dive shopes use it. Sealt away well renmove salt and calsem it also perservers the canvice and plastec. Both no aberasofe.
