In case you missed it, ScubaBoard is having it's Annual Invasion in Bonaire this coming year.
Space is going fast and I wanted to make sure SB member in Europe had a chance to attend.

I really wish i could, but the flights are simply killing me with their prices. I have heard rumors about invading Bahamas and i really like that idea!

That's to bad, the Invasion is the social/dive event of the year. Unfortunately there is nothing SB can do about the Airlines.

There is no rhyme or reason on how they figure airfares.
The best advise I can give to everyone is use the matrix to search for airfare.
Matrix - ITA Software

Example you can fly to Bonaire from Amsterdam for 739 euro = 987 dollars
Where I live Tampa Florida to Bonaire it cost 796 euro = 1028.00 dollars

Also try flying into Curacao or Aruba then take a puddle hopper to Bonaire.

The airlines just don't make sense

I can tell you there are no plans to Invade the Bahamas so that rumor is false.

How often do you have the "invasions"? I am yet to find a flight from Gothenburg in Sweden (or Copenhagen) for under 2000 usd. i did the search through the matrix and it was cheaper, but i get the following text:
