Ever wonder what’s at the bottom of a deep Gulf sinkhole?

My buddy Derek and I found this sawfish at the bottom (350ft) of Amberjack Hole, ~30mi off Sarasota.

Some other guys are going out this week to retrieve the carcass and try to figure out what happened to it.

What's the top edge depth of that hole?

I'd heard of nothing really living in some blue hole (Belize maybe?) because of very little water movement maybe no oxygen...... Looks like particulates moving in the water there though..

    Real curious find though!

They might be very unpleasantly surprised at how bad it smells when they get it on the boat. Florida also doesn't allow possesion of a sawfish or parts, so there's that. Very cool video though.

They have a permit to collect it.
