Hunting for the ideal strobes to replace my s2000 seems to be a difficult task. I am targeting an at least 4 stops improvement in power to light up WA scenes.
The Subtronic pro 160 seems up to the task (Underwater GN 14, warm CT, 116° coverage underwater(!)). Does anyone have experience with Subtronics?
Key questions:
#1: reliability
#2: support
#3: maintenance/service demand (what is the realistic value of a 2nd hand unit after 2-3 years without service, percentage to new?)
#4: TTL and fast sync compatibility with P&S cameras via optical connection
#5: Full travel weight of the system
