As a dome, the Fantasea Bigeye underwater should recover the in-air FOV. That seems to be clear.
But in this page:
Canon G7X Wet Lens Tests
while exactly stating that it only reverses the magnifying effects of refraction underwater there are two sample photos which seems to have a wider recovery when compared.
Here they are:

I did count the tiles of the pool and found that there are about 70% plus which IMO is more than recover the In-air FOV.

May be there is some "tecnicality" that I dont understand. What am I missing?
